More Sneak Peeks - Pumpkin Portraits

Doesn't the green of her shirt look great with those pumpkins?! Her mom told me that her daughter didn't really want to wear the green shirt because her favorite color is pink. :) I think green was the perfect choice. Way to go mom! Enjoy!

Sneak Peek - Pumpkin Portraits

This little guy was my first customer of the day this last Saturday. He braved the 90 degree heat much better than me, that's for sure. It was all giggles and grins for him. He has this big beautiful smile, just like his mom. He also has a little bit of mischief in him too. :) He's a pumpkin tipper. I got the greatest mischievious expressions from him when I kept telling him he couldn't tip the pumpkin over. Have a peek...

Pumpkin Portraits

As much as I would love to post some images from my Pumpkin Portrait sessions, I am just too tuckered out. :) Look for some sneak peeks in the next day or so...

Three Days to Pumpkin Portraits!

I am so excited for Pumpkin Portraits this Saturday! I'm in a fall kind of mood - even though the weather isn't playing along with me. I put on jeans and a thin long sleeve shirt this week and then...I went outside. I guess good ole' Florida isn't ready to cool down just yet, but only a few more weeks and we should start seeing some nice cool weather. I've got my fingers crossed anyway. :)

Back to the Pumpkin Portraits...There are still some spots available, so if you've been thinking about it, make sure to sign up for a time. I promise you won't regret it. Here are some sample images of the props.

My reluctant assistant did offer me a few smiles tonight. I told him I wanted to see how the old fence looked. Pretty cool, huh? I can't wait to put it all together - the haybales, corn stalks, pumpkins, old crates and some CUTE kids.

If you're still looking/thinking about clothes, you may want to stop by some local consignment shops. I went to Snappy Turtle today and found some great dress shirts for Carter that had never been worn. Another local shop is Pitter Patter. It's a little farther away for me or I would go there more often.

Looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday!

Friendship

More images from a Girl's Night Out session with some friends. I can't say enough good things about these women. We have the best time when we go out and really value the time we get to spend together. We are there for each other to listen, to give advice and most importantly, to laugh. :) You are all beautiful!

Stefanie is so sweet and caring to everyone.

Lori has the best laugh in the world and she can whip out some multi-syllable words like nobody's business! She makes me smile.

Shelley has a spunky attitude that we all love.

Sandy is so laid back and kind. It's relaxing just to be around her.

Smiles

I was in seventh heaven on Saturday afternoon because I was out photographing the most adorable 7 month old. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this is my absolute favorite age to photograph. Not just because they're a captive audience ;), but because they have the biggest, juiciest, best smiles in the whole world. This age just flat out makes me smile too.

Look at those eyes...and those chubby cheeks! Can you stand it?!

Just chillin'.

Peek-a-boo! :)

I love this one. I love how he's getting big enough to stand up for awhile, but he's still holding on to mom for dear life.

Oh...I have toes.

Oh my gosh! My mom has toes too!

Wait! There's even more toes over here! LOL. I have a whole series of images where he's trying to decide which foot to keep an eye on. It was so much fun to see the wonder in his eyes.

Can't beat some mama love. xxoo

Clothing Ideas for Boys - Pumpkin Portraits

How handsome are these outfits??? I think most of them are from The Children's Place, but there may be one or two from Gymboree. They tend to have pretty cute boys clothes. I was in the Gymboree outlet recently and they had these great pirate shirts too. Arrrr! :)

Clothing Ideas for Girls - Pumpkin Portraits

All of these clothing combos came from either The Children's Place, Old Navy, Gap Kids or Gymboree. I tried to pick local stores that you could go to and shop. Of course, online is almost as easy anymore. :) These outfits are perfect for the pumpkin portraits. If you have an older child who can stand the heat, then by all means buy the jacket or long sleeve sweater. For the younger ones, I think it's best to deck them out in something not too hot. Boys clothing ideas to come soon...
