Look what I found...

Perfect for pumpkin portraits! I like to change the scenery, so to speak, of the set each year. I found this in an antique store on Tuttle and Bee Ridge right next door to Pitter Patter children's consignment store. The owner was great and showed me some different items that I might want to consider for props. Nice guy. If you're looking for antiques, I would go to that store not only because they have cool stuff, but the customer service is great. He even opened the door for me on my way out. How nice is that?

What Color Is This?

This is the awesome color of K2's walls. The absolute perfect backdrop for Pumpkin Portraits! I usually hang a backdrop, but this is just too perfect to pass up. Karen suggested it last year, but I already had my mind set on the way the whole set would look. This year I want to try something different. So here we go! So excited!

This is the cute jacket I found for Carter's pumpkin portraits. I picked it up at JCPenney fr the grand total of $15.74. Can't beat that! It came with a maroon shirt with a hood, but I wanted to see what it would look like with a white shirt. Oh, and by the way, his payment for letting me take this image was a little tiny piece of gum. :>) Which he promptly swallowed. :>)

If you haven't signed up yet, make sure to call K2 at 926-1744 to reserve a session. Don't wait too long or that perfect time slot for your child's schedule may be taken.

Early Pumpkin Patch Portraits This Year

Pumpkin portraits will be a little early this year. K2 is hosting me again on September 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Make sure to call them at 926-1744 to reserve a session!

I got the greatest outfit for Carter this last weekend! They had a great sale at JCPenney. I found this three-piece outfit with a tan corduroy jacket with brown suede patches on the elbows, jeans and a maroon shirt with hood for $16. I may do away with the shirt and put him in a dress shirt. Not sure if I want to go preppy or hip. We'll see. Can't wait to get his pumpkin portraits this year. He's been a challenge to photograph, but now I know exactly what will make him smile (besides Candie at K2) - the word "cockroach." So boy, isn't it!?
