I had some seriously cute kids in yesterday for their Pumpkin Portraits. Just see for yourself...
I love this one even though I know the look was a "do we have to do more of this?" kind of look. LOL.
How cute is this little guy? He was so smiley. Mama must be doing a good job. Sweet boy. :>)
These two are growing up so fast! Beautiful. And I want one of those Oilily skirts!

Thanks for the great pose idea Amy. How handsome does he look?!?
A sweet brother and sister. He was so good to her.
This look is priceless. She wasn't going for the hay, the pumpkins, nothing. Not until mom and her friend started doing "Ring Around the Rosie." LOL. The things we do to get our children to smile!
This little girl was on the move. I'm glad I was able to capture this cute look.
Four months old and she sat up so well! Of course, mom was right by her side and grandma got her to smile so nicely. She loves her grandma - you can tell.
This little guy will be a heartbreaker. He is just so handsome. Another smiley guy.

Love the red hair! Of course I'm partial... He had these huge smiles. It was so hard to pick my favorite.
And last, but not least, my little cutie pie. :>)
Happy Fall everyone!

Two days to PUMPKIN PORTRAITS
Only two days until pumpkin portraits! I am so in the mood to do something "fall-ish." And, so in the mood to get the straw bales out of the back of my van. With the temps getting over 100 degrees inside the van during the day you can imagine that it smells like a barn in there! The pumpkins, fall leaves and hay for the pumpkin patch sessions are a perfect way to get into the fall groove. Wish the weather felt that way too. LOL. Can't wait to see all the cute little kiddos in their outfits.
This is an image from my fun session with my friend Deb a couple of weekends ago. The colors feel like fall to me! See you all Saturday. :)

sweet
We took our son to an old car show and I got some sweet images. Cool cars and really nice people. I met someone who has a cousin who has a rusted truck sitting in their field. This is PERFECT for senior photography. Anyone interested???

Mind you, I did some post-processing of these images. I'm sure the owners would kill me if they saw what I did to the color of their cars! :>) Pretty sweet, huh?

Beauty
My friend Deb was gracious enough to go outside in 90+ degree weather in jeans and sweat so that I could take some photographs of her. You can see why though. She's gorgeous.
We had a great time laughing at ourselves and doing silly poses. She makes me laugh. Good friend. Good time. :>)

Look what I found...
Perfect for pumpkin portraits! I like to change the scenery, so to speak, of the set each year. I found this in an antique store on Tuttle and Bee Ridge right next door to Pitter Patter children's consignment store. The owner was great and showed me some different items that I might want to consider for props. Nice guy. If you're looking for antiques, I would go to that store not only because they have cool stuff, but the customer service is great. He even opened the door for me on my way out. How nice is that?

What Color Is This?
This is the awesome color of K2's walls. The absolute perfect backdrop for Pumpkin Portraits! I usually hang a backdrop, but this is just too perfect to pass up. Karen suggested it last year, but I already had my mind set on the way the whole set would look. This year I want to try something different. So here we go! So excited!
This is the cute jacket I found for Carter's pumpkin portraits. I picked it up at JCPenney fr the grand total of $15.74. Can't beat that! It came with a maroon shirt with a hood, but I wanted to see what it would look like with a white shirt. Oh, and by the way, his payment for letting me take this image was a little tiny piece of gum. :>) Which he promptly swallowed. :>)
If you haven't signed up yet, make sure to call K2 at 926-1744 to reserve a session. Don't wait too long or that perfect time slot for your child's schedule may be taken.

Early Pumpkin Patch Portraits This Year
Pumpkin portraits will be a little early this year. K2 is hosting me again on September 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Make sure to call them at 926-1744 to reserve a session!
I got the greatest outfit for Carter this last weekend! They had a great sale at JCPenney. I found this three-piece outfit with a tan corduroy jacket with brown suede patches on the elbows, jeans and a maroon shirt with hood for $16. I may do away with the shirt and put him in a dress shirt. Not sure if I want to go preppy or hip. We'll see. Can't wait to get his pumpkin portraits this year. He's been a challenge to photograph, but now I know exactly what will make him smile (besides Candie at K2) - the word "cockroach." So boy, isn't it!?
